FINANCIAL INCLUSION


Financial inclusion is an integral part of SHG programme. Under financial inclusion, SHG bank linkage is one of the key focus areas of concern of SUPPORT. During the financial year 2013-14 total 2340 new SHGs have been promoted in order to bring women together for their self development, 1285 SHGs have linked with bank and enabled to access banking facilities, 101 SHGs have been availed bank loan to start their small enterprise in rural areas to support their livelihoods. These SHGs have been linked with credit facilities with several branches of Bank of India, State Bank of India, Jharkhand Grameen Bank, United Bank of India and IDBI. A loan fare for SHGs was organized by SUPPORT at Giridih with the help of NABARD and Bank of India in order to avail bank credit to maximum number of SHGs for their livelihood.
