Koh micro watershed project is funded by NABARD and implemented in 3 villages of Petarwar block, Bokaro district, Jharkhand. The project aims to improve in agriculture, livelihood and existing level of groundwater in the area. Mainly, to benefit the community by creating opportunities locally for better income generation. The goal of the project was to achieve more than 70% irrigation area and make a regular source of income for more than 400 families.

The major impact of the programme reflected in a change in the lifestyle and awareness level of the beneficiaries. They started for demanding for job card and employment under MNREGA for example.
